Hey, so, I'm assuming you have a lot of shit to do. And you manage a huge network really well. I don't envy your job in any way.
That said, I'm sure Retina iPads are a pretty big part of your user base's browsing vehicle, and it's really annoying now (though not as bad as the mobile debacle in April). Pictures suck, formatting sucks, and when you hit the notifications bar you can't scroll down far enough to reach the "more notifications" at the bottom. You can zoom out and see it, but iPads don't do clicks on top of zooms.
It wasn't this bad a few weeks ago, but it it is now. I don't pretend to understand why you do what you do. But this is what it appears to be now.

What browser do you use?

Safari on ipad, latest iOS update, for this one. I'm guessing there are enough ipad users out there for this to be relevant.
Can't scroll down on notifications tab.

Ahh now I see it, had to login to safari. Blame Apple, they are responsible for how Safari displays the pages code. But I see how that would be annoying I may not get enough notifications too. But turning it I could access it. I use chrome and it doesn't do that I generally dislike the iPad too so I am biased. That is where I took the picture in chrome iPad 3. Also tested in a WebKit browser and that doesn't do it either stupid apple.

I should maybe install chrome on the ipad. Firefox is pretty much a no-go on it, and I'm not looking for blame anywhere. It's just a "hey, this thing doesn't work, in case you didn't know" thing.
Also, i have no love for apple product.

Good news! It doesn't work very well on Windows' mobile browser either
At least I can scroll through notifications though ;)

I unfortunately don't have one of these to test with. Could you correct me where I'm wrong in the following, and add any additional information?
Retina iPad, iOS7, Safari
Click the user menu, notifications are cut off in portrait and landscape view
Pinch to zoom out to display 'See all notifications' button
See all notifications cannot be clicked while zoomed out
Is that right?

Yeah. I don't have it with me at the moment, but pinch to zoom out does display the whole bar, but you can't click the 'see all' button that way. Didn't try re-orienting it.
Retina, iOS7.whateverthelatestis

It's cut off in landscape but not portrait then? Try reorienting and let me know if that helps. Not a solution by any means, but the more information I have the easier it will be to fix.

I'll check when I get home from work, and let you know. Don't have it with me here.

It doesn't cut off in portrait. Of course, when I click 'see all notifications' it sends me to the 401 not authorized page, but that's a separate issue.

Thanks pheno, we'll look into it. Regarding your 401 issues, shoot us an email with some browser and OS details, so we can dig into it and get you straightened out.

What, my username gets shortened to nonsense as if I'm like a celebrity?
(I can't not give you shit, here, for that. It's supposed to be funny.
Tech changes every minute and there's no way Gawker can keep up, and since I work in that space, I try to call out things that don't work.)
